200 places remain available on the starting list for the 50-kilometre
classic race. The 47th annual Czech cross-country ski race is nearly at
full capacity for the fourth consecutive year.
Registration for the race, which will take place from 10 to 12 January 2014, began on the first day of September and the last available places are now available. Besides the main 50-kilometre classic-style race, those interested in participating can register for the 30-kilometre freestyle and 35-kilometre classic-style races.
The capacity of the individual races is the same as last year: 4,800 racers in the 50-kilometre race, 1,200 in the 25-kilometre event and 600 racers in the Bedrichov 30 race. The 47th annual Jizerska 50 will also include children’s races, which are part of the programme on the first race day, on Friday afternoon after the initial race for adults.
