It was warm in every sense. Neither the participants nor the organizers were expecting good weather. But the nature loves Demino, we've been convinced of that more than once, and today the sun came out, it was warm, but comfortable enough for running.

All in all 700 people took part in the half marathon, 100 more than last year. We are growing and developing together with you, our dear participants.

The competition day began with our youngest competitors - the athletes of the 300 m distance. Everyone successfully overcame the route and got the deserved diplomas and medals from the finishers. In the 1 km run, as opposed to the 300 m distance, electronic timing chips were used, and participants who took 1-3 places were awarded on the stage along with the adult athletes.

At 11:00 am the main race was started - 21.1 km, where Dmitry Shunin from Vladimir and Ekaterina Sergeeva from Yaroslavl became the winners. After the half marathon athletes started on 10 km and 3 km distances.

We, the organizers, are very grateful to the participants for coming to us year after year and supporting us.

The next stages of Demino Marathons Super Cup are a cycling marathon on September 9 and a cross-country trail on October 7. Registrations are about to open at www.russiarunning.com, please register early and don't make the same mistakes as before.
