Famous sports journalists Andrei Arieh and Maria Korobova will broadcast the XVII Rostec Demino Ski Marathon, which will be held on March 1, 2, 3. Their voices will also be heard by the spectators on the podium: the organizers have improved the sound system of the sporting event.
Rostec Demino Marathon has a long-standing cooperation with Andrei Arikh. Since 2018, he has been the official voice of the sporting event. A sports commentator, journalist, he worked for federal channels at the Olympic Games in Sochi, Pyeongchang and Beijing, as well as covering many other sporting events - the World Championships, the World Universiade. This year he will come to Demino again.
Maria Korobova worked at the Rostec Demino Marathon as a MATCH-TV correspondent and commented on children's competitions at the Anna Bogaliy Cup. But this is the first time she will be the voice of Rostec Demi Marathon.
- We are glad that our team is replenished with high-level professionals. This year we are expecting the strongest line-up of participants, a vivid fight, and possibly new track records. And our commentators will help the spectators, who will not be able to come to the marathon, to follow it live. And the fans in the stands are waiting for contests and gifts from the marathon team, - said Igor Samoylov, director of the Demino Marathons.
Internet broadcasting of the XVII Rostec Demino Ski Marathon will be organized from Demino. Federal and regional mass media have registered to cover the competition.
The XVII Rostec Demino Ski Marathon will be held on March 1, 2 and 3. More than 4700 people from 59 regions of Russia and eight countries of the world have registered to take part in the competition. Olympic champions and medalists Alexander Bolshunov, Denis Spitsov, Alexey Chervotkin, Alexander Terentyev, Nikolay Morilov and Natalia Korosteleva will take part in the race. They will be competing with professional marathon runners, winners of previous years.
For safety reasons, all visitors to the XVII Rostec Demi Ski Marathon must complete the mandatory registration of fans on the RussiaRunning platform by February 22. The details of the registration are listed here.
Rostec Demino Ski Marathon is the most popular ski marathon in Russia. The leader of the Russialoppet rating in terms of the number of finishers in the main race. In the 2023 season, the winners of the Demino Ski Marathon at a distance of 50 km were Andrei Alipkin and Elizaveta Pantrina. The course record on the marathon distance belongs to Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov. The title sponsor is Rostec State Corporation.
