Vyacheslav is 36 years old, he is a sports referee of the All-Russian category, a FIS technical delegate, a member of FIS subcommittee on rules and control. At the Olympic Games in Sochi-2014, Vyacheslav was the chief referee in cross-country skiing and at the opening ceremony he pronounced the Olympic oath on behalf of the judges.
