Lollipops, gingerbread and cakes in the form of a Demino elk, a medal or a starting jersey. Rybinsk confectioners are preparing to delight participants and guests of the XVI International Rostec-Demino Ski Marathon with gastronomic souvenirs with the symbols of the sporting event.


“What to bring as a gift from the Demino ski marathon?” - Rybinsk confectioners answered this question. Demino-themed treats are presented in a wide variety of price categories. Participants and guests of the marathon will be able to purchase the same lollipops from childhood, colorful gingerbread and even cakes in the shape of the famous Demino elk. 


– Gingerbreads are made according to a special old recipe, which includes many different spices and an additive in the form of apricot confiture. The gingerbread is made in the shape of an elk with the Demino logo, - said Tatyana Tsareva, head of production at the confectionery shop of IP Bakharev. - Little participants and spectators will be cheered up by lollipops in the form of a moose figurine with raspberry, lemon and apple flavors.


The owner of the confectionery studio, Taya Moskovskaya, often has to create unusual cakes for individual orders. But this order is special, creative. The girl is a fan of skiing, every year she comes to the marathon to cheer on the participants. This year, she is ready to surprise and delight the guests of Demino with author's desserts. The recipe and the process of creating cakes in the form of a Demino elk, a hand-painted starting bib T-shirt, and a bento cake with the image of an elk, made on a food printer, have already been worked out.


— It took 13 hours to make a 3D moose cake. It is assembled on a special design. The yellow jersey of the participant with the number is prepared faster - in the region of four to five hours and signed by hand. The same amount of time is needed to prepare a mousse bento cake, - said confectioner Taya Moskovskaya.


The confectionery studio is ready to take orders for the production of gastronomic souvenirs from participants and teams in order to leave sweet memories of the sporting event. Desserts and treats can be purchased in Demino during the days of the marathon on March 3, 4 and 5.


Rostec Demino Ski Marathon is the largest ski marathon in Russia. Russialoppet leader in terms of the number of finishers in the main race. In the 2022 season, the winners of the Demino ski marathon at a distance of 50 km were Alexander Bolshunov and Natalya Nepryaeva. The general partner of the competition is the state corporation Rostec.
